Since 1994, The U.S. Department of Labor Women's Bureau and the Bureau of Apprenticeship and Training have awarded 23 Women in Apprenticeship and Nontraditional Occupations (WANTO) Act Technical Assistance Grants to 18 organizations nationwide. The grant recipients, listed below, have developed technical assistance projects to help employers, unions and apprenticeship programs increase women's access to and retention in nontraditional occupations.
