WANTO 6^th Year Grant—Awarded September 1999

Women Helping Women (WHW) will provide technical assistance to 16 private-sector employers and develop a video to provide insight for employers and labor unions and apprenticeship programs on the key issues involved in creating a diverse workplace to include women in nontraditional occupations.

WHW has 10 years experience in providing training and placing skilled workers in nontraditional workplaces. It is the only community-based organization in the Houston Metro Area providing training and placement of women in nontraditional occupations.
