WANTO 1st Year Grant—Awarded September 1994
The New England NTO Technical Assistance Project

Women Unlimited collaborated with Northern New England Tradeswomen (Vermont and New Hampshire) and Women in the Building Trades (Massachusetts) to deliver the technical assistance. The New England NTO Technical Assistance Project had three phases:

  1. Outreach and Needs Assessment—advisory committee and one-on-one meetings with employers and union representatives to assess the kind of assistance they need;
  2. Analysis—meeting input will be analyzed and strategies devised for delivering technical assistance; and
  3. Delivery of technical assistance provided in small groups and individually based on a need assessment.

Outcomes


Technical Assistance

Women Unlimited provided direct technical assistance to 16 employers and 24 unions and outreach activities to 5000 women and 500 organizations.
